Ren Taylor is an artist and web designer from Chicago, Illinois currently residing in Indianapolis, Indiana. Inspired by cartoons and animation, she wanted to showcase a fantasy story that involved a diverse and LGBT+ cast with a focus on black characters. Wannabe Hero's original version ran from 2017-2019, but has evolved for a reboot in 2023.
